Smile Makeover B & A
Our teenage patient that had completed orthodontic treatment needed cosmetic treatment to replace a congenitally missing lateral incisor and restore a peg lateral incisor. While she was going through orthodontic treatment Dr Roach and the patient's orthodontist were in constant communication to get the exact movements and results needed to complete the post orthodontic cosmetic dentistry. Once the orthodontic goals were achieved Dr Roach moved into the restorative phase with the patient to compete the cosmetic enhancements. The patient is congenitally missing a lateral incisor and is not a candidate for an implant at this age so the smile design and treament plan included and non-prep all ceramic Maryland Bridge to replace the missing tooth and a Porcelain Veneer to restore the peg lateral incisor. The Smile Design and cosmetic treatment started with gum recontouring using a laser to improve the height and level of the gumline. Zoom whitening was done to whiten the teeth and then the Maryland Bridge and porcelain veneer were ordered and delivered to patient after multiple try in appointments to achieve the final smile makeover.
